2026Baba took films, many films. And, we watched them to remember (or to be remembered). While watching, we were making Torshi-Iranian pickles; Salt for waiting, vinegar to remember.
On Wednesday, April 8th, in the Moezeum, we gathered and watched the Work-In-Progress film that we made based on Baba’s archive,“ Baba’s Camera Cuts Through My Imagination Like a Blade of a Knife”.
Then we danced and made Torshi together: washing the vegetables, chopping, and pouring over to preserve. More of us joined in than were able to come in body. Spoons, forks and knives on motors accompanied the chopping. They landed on the hand-made chopping boards together with echoes from the film.
